Data Center Support Engineer

About the role

Support the day‑to‑day operations of regional data centers and provide reliable, round‑the‑clock technical assistance to colocation and hosting customers. The role involves monitoring services, troubleshooting hosted infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with operational, security, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 operational and technical support, including shift coverage and remote‑hands services.
• Monitor data‑center services, detect abnormalities, and report or escalate incidents promptly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer‑hosted equipment and infrastructure both onsite and remotely.
• Perform network cable patching, fiber interconnections, and cross‑connect services.
• Inspect installations for compliance with quality and security standards.
• Maintain accurate inventories, support tickets, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to ISMS policies, physical security, and health‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data‑center operations, technical support, colocation or hosting services.
• Willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 environment.

Required skills

• Remote‑hands support and network patching (UTP, fiber).
• Cross‑connect implementation and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of installation quality standards, data‑center operating procedures, and information security.
• Strong customer service, communication, and incident‑escalation abilities.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA and Microsoft Azure certification.
