Data Centre & Infrastructure Operations Project Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support Data Centre Infrastructure and IT Operations projects for a client in Dubai. The role involves coordinating server deployments, backup restoration activities, change management processes and ensuring smooth execution of project deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Out‑of‑Band (OOB) configuration and management of HPE physical servers, track hardware installation, rack & stack activities and maintain infrastructure documentation.
• Support data restoration from tape drives and backup systems, liaise with backup administrators and monitor restoration progress.
• Create, track and manage Change Requests in ServiceNow, coordinate CAB approvals and ensure compliance with ITIL processes.
• Coordinate activities between infrastructure, security, application, vendor and operations teams, track milestones, risks and issues, and prepare status reports.
• Maintain project documentation, SOPs, implementation plans and runbooks, and produce weekly and monthly status reports.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, data centre projects or technical project coordination.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities, and experience working with enterprise customers.
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience in managed‑service environments is a plus.

Required skills

• HPE physical servers and iLO (Integrated Lights‑Out) out‑of‑band management.
• Tape backup and recovery solutions.
• ServiceNow change‑management module.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, storage and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ITIL change‑management processes.
