Data Full Stack Engineer (DevOps & Architecture)

About the role

The Full Stack Engineer, with DevOps and architecture experience, joins the BI-Desk in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, working directly with headquarters in the Netherlands. The team supports projects and departments with business intelligence and workflow automation applications. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the end-to-end application development lifecycle, aligned with industry standards, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as solution designs, architecture diagrams, process flows, test plans, user guides and executive presentations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation proposals with stakeholders.
• Design and document application architecture, deployment models and lifecycle processes across development, testing, release and maintenance.
• Develop test scenarios and validation plans so applications meet client and internal needs before UAT.
• Own tasks throughout the ALM process, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
• Support and improve DevOps practices, including release management, version control, environment management and process automation.
• Work in an Agile / Scrum framework, managing sprint deliverables with product owners and technical teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, documentation standards and delivery methods, and give technical guidance to keep solutions scalable, maintainable and secure.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT application architecture, technical documentation and DevOps or release management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, ALM, DevOps, change management and quality assurance practices.
• Collaborative and communicative approach to delivering value.

Required skills

• Python, ASP.NET, C# or modern web application technologies (an added advantage).
