Data Scientist Analyst - Data Modelling and BI (Emirati Talent)

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim is looking for a Data Scientist Analyst focused on data modelling and business intelligence, open to Emirati talent. The role supports Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions by designing and optimising data pipelines, building Tableau and Power BI dashboards and delivering analytics and machine learning solutions that strengthen data-driven decisions and AI innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines in Python and SQL/MySQL so that high-quality datasets are available for analytics and reporting.
• Build, enhance and maintain interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards based on clear, governed KPIs.
• Run exploratory data analysis and statistical assessments to find trends and support operational and strategic decisions.
• Develop and evaluate predictive analytics and machine learning models, using tools such as scikit-learn.
• Create and deploy lightweight analytics applications and proof-of-concept solutions with Streamlit.
• Support AI, NLP and Generative AI initiatives through experimentation, prototyping and validation.
• Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards and code, following data quality, governance and version control standards.
• Deliver reporting-ready datasets, dashboards, reusable analytical assets and at least one analytics, ML or AI prototype with documented outcomes and recommendations.

Required profile

• A relevant quantitative degree and practical experience through internships or academic projects.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics solutions and prototypes, with exposure to modern AI platforms and NLP frameworks.
• Familiarity with collaborative development environments and version control tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder communication and attention to detail.
