Data Scientist – Econometric & Predictive Modelling

About the role

We are partnering with a leading enterprise in Dubai to hire a hands‑on Data Scientist focused on econometric and predictive modelling. The role involves building quantitative frameworks that use macro‑economic, trade and corporate data from 21 countries to identify high‑growth markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define macro‑economic, trade and industry datasets across 21 countries.
• Design econometric, statistical and predictive scoring models.
• Leverage data sources such as IMF, Bloomberg, LSEG, Moody’s and Orbis.
• Establish weighting, correlation and ranking methodologies.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build data pipelines and ensure data quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in econometric modelling, statistical design and predictive analytics.
• Hands‑on work with macro‑economic, trade‑flow and global financial data sources.
• Experience building scoring models, variable validation and model monitoring.
• Ability to work closely with Data Engineering and AI/Advisory teams.
