Data Scientist – Risk AI Analytics

About the role

Join Binance's Risk AI Data Science team to build risk‑detection models on massive user behavior, fund‑flow and market data. You will own end‑to‑end projects such as syndicate detection, user behavior sequencing, and market manipulation detection.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyze billions of records using PySpark, Hive, and Trino, and develop robust SQL pipelines for feature engineering and validation.
• Build, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models, translating performance into business metrics like detection rate, false‑positive rate, and latency.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Comfortable working with large‑scale datasets; Apache Spark experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor.
