Data SME – Econometric & Predictive Modelling Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Data SME to design and deliver econometric and predictive modelling solutions that support multi‑country growth strategies. The role will focus on building quantitative frameworks using macro‑economic, trade and corporate data across 21 countries to identify high‑growth markets and target companies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and curate macro‑economic, trade and industry datasets for 21 countries.
• Design and implement econometric, statistical and predictive scoring models.
• Leverage external data sources such as IMF, Bloomberg, LSEG and Moody’s Orbis.
• Establish weighting, correlation and ranking methodologies for model outputs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build data pipelines and enforce quality controls.
• Translate model results into actionable business recommendations for strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering econometric modelling, statistical design and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with macro‑economic, trade‑flow and global financial data sources.
• Track record of building scoring models, validating variables and monitoring model performance.
• Ability to work closely with Data Engineering and AI/Advisory teams.
