DBS Consultant

About the role

Brainlab is seeking a DBS Consultant to support the marketing, sales and adoption of functional and stereotactic neurosurgery solutions across the Middle East and North Africa. Based in Dubai with a home‑office setup, you will act as the regional subject‑matter expert, ensuring state‑of‑the‑art clinical workflow implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep scientific knowledge in deep brain stimulation, epilepsy management and related clinical workflows.
• Lead demonstrations of Brainlab functional neurosurgery software and platform portfolio.
• Provide on‑site consulting and guidance to physicians and OR personnel before and during surgery.
• Educate and train physicians, OR staff, radiology, biomedical and IT personnel on Brainlab products.
• Collaborate with regional support teams to design and deliver training programs for hospital staff.
• Monitor market developments and competitive IGS products, feeding feedback to product management.
• Work with Area Account Managers on local strategies to maximise solution penetration.

Required profile

• Experience in functional neurosurgery environments, preferably with deep brain stimulation or epilepsy procedures.
• Strong clinical and technical orientation with ability to support surgeons during operations.
