Deal Sourcing Investment Intern – E‑commerce Private Equity

About the role

We are looking for a Deal Sourcing Investment Intern to join our Dubai office and work directly with the Head of Investments. You will be trained to identify, qualify and value e‑commerce businesses and support real acquisition decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential acquisition targets on marketplaces such as Flippa and Acquire, and conduct daily outreach to sellers, brokers and partners.
• Apply investment criteria to screen inbound leads and use our AI qualification tool to flag risks.
• Reconstruct P&L statements, normalise EBITDA and assist in building cash‑plus‑earn‑out offer models.
• Draft investment memoranda summarising business overview, financials and risks, and present findings to senior investment staff.
• Support due‑diligence preparation by creating checklists, data rooms and coordinating documentation collection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English, analytical mindset and ability to work full‑time on‑site in Dubai.
• Curiosity about e‑commerce and digital marketing; currently based in Dubai or able to relocate at own cost.
• Nice‑to‑have: Dutch language, prior experience in sales, business development, investment banking, private equity or e‑commerce operations.
