About the role
We are looking for a Debt Collector to support pre‑enforcement collection of overdue returns, charges and penalties in Dubai. The role involves initial outreach, payment reminders and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
Key responsibilities
- Contact taxable persons or their agents to secure payment of delinquent taxes and filing of returns.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and notify non‑compliant persons of penalties.
- Ensure payments are received correctly and on time.
- Resolve enquiries related to outstanding accounts and non‑filing of returns.
- Analyze payment trends and raise risks to the Head of Enforcement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a collections function, preferably within a government entity.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
