About the role
HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking is seeking a part‑time Debt Counselling Advisor for its Al Ain office. The role supports customers experiencing financial difficulty, helping them regain stability while protecting the bank’s interests.
Key responsibilities
- Collect overdue debts and manage a portfolio of live, current and overdue customer accounts through inbound and outbound calls.
- Assess customers’ financial circumstances, propose suitable treatments, and escalate cases for legal action when necessary.
- Maintain performance against business targets, provide progress reviews and feedback to senior management.
- Identify and implement improvements to policies and procedures to enhance the customer journey.
Required profile
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Proven collections experience and ability to write business letters and reports.
- Graduation degree required to secure a UAE visa or work permit.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and resilience in a dynamic environment.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
