Delivery Director

About the role

Tactical is seeking a Delivery Director to bring structure, pace and clarity to complex creative environments. You will lead the leaders who run delivery, building frameworks that improve quality, protect margins and keep teams aligned across fast‑turnaround social and multi‑market campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine processes that improve quality, cost and speed.
• Oversee resource planning, project tracking, utilisation and delivery margins.
• Partner with Finance to monitor delivery P&L, cost efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
• Lead project managers responsible for end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring consistent intake, scoping, execution and close‑out.
• Set and embed frameworks for project tracking, QA and post‑delivery learnings.
• Hold managers accountable for operational KPIs, including on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Strategic operator who brings structure, pace and precision to complex creative environments.
• Proven experience building and scaling delivery frameworks that balance commercial discipline with creative agility.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable results and to develop capable leaders.
• Fluent in both creative and commercial languages, comfortable discussing pipelines with producers and financial metrics with finance teams.
• Calm under pressure, decisive in ambiguity and driven by continuous improvement.
