Demi Chef de Partie – Banquet Kitchen

About the role

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie for its Banquet Kitchen to ensure high‑quality food service for events and guests. The role supports smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure food quality, freshness, consistency, and proper portion control at all times.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in line with company and HACCP standards.
• Monitor food stock levels, minimise waste, and inform the Chef of excess or low‑stock items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
• Maintain food production records and temperature logs as required.
• Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams regarding menu specials, guest requirements, and operational needs.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods and contribute to an exceptional guest dining experience.
• Report equipment or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Steakhouse Chef in a luxury hotel, upscale steakhouse, or high‑end restaurant is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steak preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Passion for culinary excellence and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
