Demi Chef de Partie – Counter Culture Café

About the role

The Counter Culture Café is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its culinary team in Dubai. You will be responsible for preparing special meals, maintaining high standards of food quality, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, presentation standards and food preparation checklists.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and manage food thawing and storage.
• Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish, and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Communicate with the Chef and service staff about specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess inventory.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar culinary role.
• Technical, trade or vocational culinary education.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow safety and hygiene policies.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
