Demi Chef De Partie – Culinary Role

About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie will join the culinary team at Le Méridien Dubai Marina, supporting the preparation and cooking of high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced hotel kitchen. This full‑time position focuses on executing recipes, maintaining standards, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook and plate dishes according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, tools, and kitchen areas.
• Set up and break down work stations, and handle proper food storage.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and work in a hot environment.

Required skills

• Operating kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers, etc.).
• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
