Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

Accor Plus is looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team in the United Arab Emirates. You will support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs in delivering high‑quality dishes while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning food production, purchasing and manpower based on forecasts.
• Prepare requisitions for the next day's service under supervision.
• Prioritise and organise daily tasks for yourself and the team to meet service timelines.
• Motivate, supervise and act as a role model for junior kitchen staff.
• Run day‑to‑day kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs.
• Taste, season and present dishes to the required standard before service.
• Distribute work evenly, conduct kitchen briefings and ensure clear communication.
• Expedite food passes for à la carte restaurants and maintain HACCP compliance.
• Create, prepare and present menu items, specials and calculate recipe costs.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food safety.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
