About the role

As a Demi Chef de Partie at Fairmont Dubai, you will support the Executive Sous Chef in delivering high‑quality a la carte and buffet dishes while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. The role involves preparing food to exacting standards, ensuring freshness of mise en place, and contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items for a la carte and buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Perform daily checks of mise en place, maintain product rotation, and minimize waste.
• Communicate with outlet chefs regarding guest feedback and daily operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and kitchen policies and procedures.
• Support colleagues with professional, friendly, and proactive service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the culinary field (required).
• Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent (required).
• Diploma or certification in a culinary discipline (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and focus on guest needs.
