Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel DIFC in Dubai is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie. The hotel is a boutique-style property with 106 accommodations, including 28 suites, located in the Dubai International Finance Centre. The position is full-time, on a 6-day schedule of 48 working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items to order according to recipe cards, maintaining consistent quality, portion and presentation standards.
• Complete mise en place and set up the station for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner service.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, mixers, ovens, steam tables, waffle irons and flat-top grills.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors, and manage inventory while minimizing food waste.

Required profile

• High school education, or cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of culinary or related work experience.
• Experience in Thai and Malaysian cuisines.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior chefs.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
