About the role
Work as directed on the assigned station under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, ensuring the station is set up correctly and on time for each service. You will support the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality dishes while adhering to the restaurant’s standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and maintain your station according to the service schedule.
- Prepare all food following the recipes designated by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Monitor quality and quantity to meet the hotel’s standards and report any issues promptly.
- Assist in cross‑training, support other stations, and participate in kitchen meetings.
- Follow “clean as you go” policies, perform final checks, and ensure proper storage labeling, dating, and rotation (FIFO).
- Complete daily log and cleaning sheets, and adhere to safety and accident‑prevention procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
- Experience with French and Italian cuisine is preferred.
- Strong management, organization and communication abilities.
