About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery supports the kitchen team at W Hotels by preparing a variety of pastry and bakery items, ensuring each dish meets the brand’s quality and presentation standards. This position involves both hot and cold food preparation, inventory handling, and coordination with service staff.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook pastry and bakery items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and maintain proper food logs.
Thaw frozen products in refrigeration units and prepare cold foods.
Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
Update Food & Beverage service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to safety and security policies.

Required profile

Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
Minimum three years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.
No prior supervisory experience required.
No specific license or certification required.
