Demi Chef de Partie Pastry

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie Pastry will support the pastry team at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, ensuring high‑quality products for à la carte and buffet services. You will work in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment, contributing ideas to improve menus and guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistency in preparation of all pastry items according to property recipes and standards.
• Check taste, temperature, visual appeal and portion sizes of each product.
• Conduct regular quality checks on pastry outputs to uphold presentation and taste standards.
• Adhere to all safety, health, security, loss‑control policies and relevant government legislation.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and respond to guest feedback.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards and sanitation requirements.

Required profile

• Fantastic passion for presentation and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Minimum 1‑2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and professional grooming standards.
