About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry will work within the resort’s restaurant kitchen, delivering high‑quality pastry products while supporting the overall culinary operation. This full‑time position is based at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all pastry kitchen activities, ensuring safe, smooth and profitable operation.
• Support the development and maintenance of restaurant concepts and standards.
• Stay familiar with the local market and suppliers, recommending menu changes according to seasonal product availability.
• Adhere to food preparation and presentation guidelines to maintain consistent quality.
• Recommend improvements to Minor Hotels presentation guidelines.
• Maintain food safety and protection, applying proper dating, storage and rotation practices.
• Ensure outlet safety and manage assets and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training and promote positive inter‑departmental relations.
• Oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.

Required profile

• Experience working in a pastry kitchen within a hotel or resort environment.
• Familiarity with local market trends and supplier networks.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to contribute to menu development and concept refinement.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organized work area.
