Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant

About the role

DentalDate is looking for a precise, calm and patient-friendly Dental Nurse/Assistant for its premium clinics in City Walk and Jumeirah, Dubai. The role is full-time, 48 hours per week, within a supportive multidisciplinary team, and focuses on four-handed dentistry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, disinfect and set up treatment rooms and equipment to clinic and PCI infection-control standards
• Prepare dental materials such as cements, composites and impression materials
• Provide chair-side assistance across operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, orthodontic and oral-surgical procedures
• Welcome patients, gather diagnostic information and obtain consent forms and signatures
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-ray, OPG) within professional authorization and follow radiation safety protocols
• Assist with scaling, polishing, suctioning, emergency management and other procedures
• Sterilize, organize, date and maintain instruments and equipment
• Coordinate dental laboratory cases and keep accurate dental and laboratory records
• Record patient health histories in the EMR and manage dental supplies and inventory
• Maintain confidentiality and follow clinic policies, plus ad hoc tasks assigned by the Medical Director, Dentist or Clinic Manager

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in Dubai/UAE
• Valid DHA license (Dental Assistant)
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Calm, attentive and welcoming manner with patients
• Nice to have: experience in a premium or multidisciplinary clinic, familiarity with EMR systems

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Confident four-handed dentistry and chair-side skills
• Dental radiography experience (X-ray, OPG)
