Deputy Manager – Contracts

About the role

Petrofac is seeking a Deputy Manager – Contracts to support the pre‑qualification, bidding and pre‑award phases of client contracts and partnering agreements. The role will help manage commercial risk, ensure compliance with procedures and drive continuous improvement across the commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing pre‑qualification, bidding and pre‑award activities for client contracts, partnering agreements and vendor/sub‑contractor arrangements.
• Identify, mitigate and manage contractual risks, and contribute to Risk Review Committee inputs.
• Support legal, tax, commercial and insurance aspects of contracts during the pre‑award stage.
• Conduct studies to streamline commercial and contractual operations and ensure due‑diligence on potential partners/clients.
• Provide guidance on legal diligence in new jurisdictions and communicate advice to the commercial team.

Required profile

• Experience in contract management and pre‑award commercial processes.
• Ability to analyse contractual terms, assess risk and support risk mitigation activities.
• Familiarity with commercial procedures and continuous‑improvement practices.
