Deputy Manager – Quality (Project)

About the role

Petrofac is seeking a Deputy Manager – Quality for its project teams. You will support the Site QC Manager, develop and maintain construction quality plans, and ensure compliance with ISO standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement the Construction Quality Plan to meet all contract requirements.
• Develop and review quality procedures for the construction phase.
• Support the Site QC Manager in resolving QMS coordination and technical issues related to ISO 9001, ISO 29001, and other certifications.
• Create and manage the Construction Quality Assurance Programme and audit schedule, covering subcontractors and critical areas such as cleanliness, tightness, welding, and preservation.
• Review and approve subcontractor QA deliverables.
• Monitor project audit performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct inductions, trainings, and toolbox talks on the project QMS for all personnel and subcontractors.
• Handle customer feedback, log complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
• Organise and conduct internal audits, prepare audit plans and reports, and track non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Compile QMS performance reports with KPIs for management review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction quality management and audit coordination.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 29001 certification requirements.
• Ability to develop quality plans, procedures, and audit schedules.
• Strong communication skills for training and stakeholder coordination.
