Deputy Practice Lead – Project Management Consulting

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Deputy Practice Lead for its Project Management Consulting (PMC) practice in Abu Dhabi. The role serves as the key EMEA regional point of contact, supporting the discipline lead in both business development and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop execution strategies for new PMC proposals and drive innovation across the market.
• Support PMC pursuits across EMEA, acting as Technical Lead when required.
• Participate in strategic pursuit reviews (red/gold/green) and EPR assessments.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for PMC sectors, shaping alternative delivery approaches.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of the Project Management Framework (PMF) and PMC practice guidance.
• Administer the EMEA Project Management Community of Practice and support training programs.
• Stand in for Project Directors on short‑term assignments, managing programmes valued between $200 M and $500 M.
• Provide input throughout all project phases to ensure schedule, budget, and contractual compliance.
• Conduct strategic reviews of live projects and assist with recovery initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Principal Project Manager or equivalent in large‑scale construction or program management.
• Proven ability to manage projects or programmes with values of $200 M–$500 M.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and the Middle East and relocate for short‑term assignments.
• Strong knowledge of PMC, PMO, and project delivery methodologies.
