Design Architect – PODs Factory

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking a Design Architect to join its PODs Factory team. The role focuses on designing, coordinating and developing architectural solutions for prefabricated and modular PODs, ensuring they are practical, efficient and ready for factory production and site installation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs for prefabricated and modular PODs, including bathroom and kitchen units.
• Prepare detailed design, shop, fabrication and production drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, production and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost‑effective and suitable for factory production.
• Review materials, finishes, construction details and manufacturing methods.
• Support design optimisation in line with DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations and applicable standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in detailed design, construction detailing and technical documentation.
• Experience with PODs, modular construction, prefabrication or factory‑based production (preferred).
• Background in villa/residential, hospitality, bathroom or kitchen fit‑out projects (considered).
