Design Director

About the role

The Design Director leads the creative vision and design strategy for the organization, ensuring high‑quality visual output across all channels. This senior role works closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and communicate a clear creative direction and design standards across projects, campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Oversee brand identity, visual systems, typography, layouts, digital experiences and other creative assets.
• Lead the development, evaluation and approval of major creative concepts.
• Manage design workflows, resource allocation, budgets and review processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, technology, sales and communications teams to align design with business goals.
• Oversee external agencies, freelancers and production partners, ensuring alignment with internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design or related field (preferred).
• Proven ability to set creative vision, lead design teams and manage cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience evaluating creative concepts and providing strategic feedback.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience using Figma and Sketch for UI/UX design.
• Strong knowledge of typography, composition, color theory and visual identity.
• Ability to create and maintain design systems and brand guidelines.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools and emerging design technologies.
