Design Engineer - Automotive Sheet Metal (Dubai)

About the role

The company is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in automotive sheet metal to join its Dubai team immediately. The role involves creating and developing automotive components using industry‑standard CAD tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive parts, components and sheet‑metal assemblies using CATIA and SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models, 2D detailed drawings and BOMs in line with company standards.
• Apply sheet‑metal design, fabrication and manufacturing knowledge to ensure DFM and DFA.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for prototype development and approval.
• Modify designs for cost reduction and quality improvement while maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1‑2 years experience as a Design Engineer in automotive sheet‑metal design.
• Currently residing in Dubai and available to join immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
