Design Experience Manager

About the role

The Design Experience Manager will shape intelligent, high‑impact digital experiences for Etihad Airways’ web and app platforms. This senior role blends ecommerce expertise, AI‑driven design, and human‑centered experimentation to boost revenue, engagement and operational efficiency across the customer lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the experience strategy and design vision for web and app initiatives, owning the end‑to‑end lifecycle from discovery to optimization.
• Translate business objectives into customer‑centric journeys that incorporate personalization, predictive recommendations, conversational interfaces and intelligent automation.
• Lead research, journey mapping, usability testing and experimentation to validate and improve experience outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics such as conversion, engagement, retention and revenue contribution, and continuously refine digital flows.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Commercial, Loyalty, Marketing, Operations and Brand teams to ensure cohesive, commercially aligned delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Digital Experience Design (UX/UI/Product Design) within large‑scale digital ecosystems.
• Proven track record delivering complex transactional or service‑based digital journeys with measurable business impact.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership from discovery through launch and optimization.
• Experience designing data‑driven or AI‑enabled experiences and working in Agile environments.
• Commercial acumen to connect design decisions to revenue, efficiency and engagement outcomes.
