Design Manager - Architecture Studio

About the role

A well-established boutique architecture studio based in Dubai is seeking a Design Manager for its growing team. This is a senior, hands-on position between the Managing Director and the wider design team, offering the chance to shape both project delivery and team development. It suits an architect who enjoys leading projects while staying actively involved in delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver architectural projects from concept through to completion
• Act as a key link between senior leadership and the design team
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Ensure high standards of design quality and technical delivery
• Liaise with clients, consultants and UAE authorities

Required profile

• 8-10 years of professional experience in architecture
• Proven experience working in the UAE
• Demonstrated experience leading projects end-to-end
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
• Background in boutique or mid-sized architectural practices
• Ideal candidate: strong background in hospitality and/or F&B projects, and clear evidence of project ownership on completed work

The studio has over 15 years of experience delivering high-profile projects across the region, including landmark hospitality and cultural developments. Candidates should be based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
