Design Manager – Interiors (Real Estate, Hotels & Residential)

About the role

The Design Manager – Interiors will lead interior design for hospitality and retail projects within Al Futtaim Real Estate’s Development & Design department, ensuring brand standards, operational requirements and exceptional customer experiences are met.

Key responsibilities

• Define design briefs covering project context, brand positioning and technical criteria.
• Guide interior design projects from concept through schematic design and tender documentation, advising project management.
• Lead design reviews for hospitality and retail interiors to ensure quality, brand compliance and operational functionality.
• Conduct technical reviews of FF&E, lighting, MEP and fire‑life‑safety integration.
• Prepare executive presentations with concept narratives, material palettes and design commentary.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline.
• 10+ years of interior design and management experience, preferably in hospitality and retail projects.
• Strong understanding of technical requirements including MEP, fire‑life‑safety and FF&E coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Adobe Suite.
• Familiarity with planning software such as Primavera.
