Design Manager

About the role

The Design Manager will lead the design development of assigned projects, ensuring high quality, technical compliance and constructability from concept through construction support. This role is based in Dubai and reports to senior project leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage architectural and multidisciplinary design development across architecture, structure, MEP, façade, fire safety, vertical transportation, landscape and interior design.
• Coordinate design submissions through Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender and IFC stages.
• Lead technical coordination, BIM clash resolution and ensure interfaces between all disciplines are resolved.
• Monitor consultant deliverables, manage value engineering, and support design-to-budget exercises.
• Oversee authority submissions, NOCs and ensure compliance with UAE/Dubai regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably with UAE developer-side projects.
• Strong background in residential, high‑rise and mixed‑use developments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active projects and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving skills.
