Desktop Support Technician – Dubai

About the role

Excis, a global IT support leader, is looking for a proactive Desktop Support Technician to provide first and second‑level support for hardware, software and IT assets across multiple sites in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third‑party vendors to remediate complex AV issues.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows (XP, 7, 8.1, 10), Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber and other desktop applications.
• Support Apple PC users with basic Mac OS knowledge.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform preventative maintenance and remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist with their tasks.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in Windows desktop support.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Mac operating system.
• Ability to work across multiple sites in Dubai and provide on‑site support.
