Development Manager – Real Estate – Abu Dhabi

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to lead product development, master planning and design coordination for large‑scale real estate projects across the UAE. The role oversees the full development lifecycle, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure projects meet strategic objectives, programme schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate projects and prepare coordinated development briefs.
• Support master planning and product development aligned with market demand and sustainability goals.
• Manage all development stages including due diligence, entitlements, construction and close‑out.
• Work closely with design consultants to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and specialist consultants for timely progression.
• Monitor budgets, programmes and key milestones.
• Review proposals and provide commercial and technical input throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage consultant appointments, contracts and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with UAE planning regulations and statutory requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare presentations, reports and updates for senior management.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and cost monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Finance or a related discipline.
• 13+ years of real‑estate development experience in the UAE.
• Proven delivery of residential, mixed‑use or master‑planned developments.
• Strong understanding of feasibility studies, planning approvals and development processes.
• Experience preparing development briefs and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
• Ability to manage early development and design stages while ensuring programme and budget compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
