Devices & IoT Field Engineering Manager

About the role

This leadership position is based in the United Arab Emirates and focuses on Linux‑based embedded and IoT solutions. You will head a regional team of Field Engineers, guiding them through presales, solution architecture, and professional services engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a diverse team of Field Engineers, from graduate to senior level.
• Set team objectives, prioritize work and drive progress against business commitments.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape strategy, execution and organizational priorities.
• Champion engineering excellence, disciplined processes and best practices.
• Coach and mentor engineers, providing technical and career guidance.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, demonstrating the value of modern Linux and IoT technologies.
• Represent the team to customers, partners, stakeholders and internal groups.
• Monitor team health indicators and continuously improve collaboration and performance.
• Provide market and customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and travel for events and customer engagements as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Linux, embedded systems and connected device ecosystems.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to engage customers in presales, solution design and professional services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, globally distributed environment.
