DevOps Engineer – AI Model Deployment (12‑month contract)

About the role

Quantum Talent Group, a data analytics firm based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 12‑month onsite contract. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure for AI model deployment and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support AI model deployment.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and management using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud and on‑premises environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage queuing systems and real‑time data streaming architectures.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Establish monitoring for infrastructure health, system metrics, and machine‑learning model performance.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews to improve reliability.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, PagerDuty).
• Understanding of real‑time streaming architectures for AI and data applications.
