DevOps Engineer

About the role

Arpnex Technologies LLC is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to act as the technical backbone for client applications and infrastructure. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable environments while collaborating with development teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, harden, and administer Linux servers and services (DNS, DHCP, Nginx/Apache).
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for PHP, Vue.js, React and Node.js applications.
• Design, provision and manage AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads with Docker or Podman and implement orchestration for high availability.
• Support frontend and backend teams, handling npm/yarn package ecosystems.
• Configure firewalls, VLANs, VPNs and routing to ensure secure connectivity.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting; respond to incidents to minimise downtime.
• Assist sales with technical proposals, solution scoping and demos.
• Create infrastructure diagrams, runbooks and deployment guides.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a related role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services; AWS certification is a plus.
• Mid‑level professional comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.
