Digital Content Specialist – Retail

About the role

The Digital Content Specialist will create, edit and optimise customer‑facing copy across IKEA’s digital channels. Working closely with Digital Merchandising, Customer Experience, Marketing and Commercial teams, you will ensure that all digital touchpoints deliver a consistent, engaging and commercially effective brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and optimise copy for website, app, email, push notifications and WhatsApp.
• Develop content that drives customer engagement, conversion and sales.
• Adapt campaign, product and service messaging across multiple channels while maintaining IKEA’s tone of voice.
• Plan and deliver content in line with trading priorities, content calendars and campaign schedules.
• Support global launches, new product releases, seasonal activities and commercial campaigns in collaboration with Merchandising teams.
• Partner with Customer Experience, Marketing, Commercial and Digital teams to ensure a seamless customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
• Contribute expertise to cross‑functional projects related to digital content and customer communication.

Required profile

• Strong copywriting and editorial skills with a focus on digital media.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a keen sense of brand voice.
• Experience in planning and executing content for e‑commerce or retail environments is preferred.
