Digital Solutions Senior Manager

About the role

The Digital Solutions Senior Manager leads the organization's digital solution capability, ensuring technology platforms support business transformation, innovation and operational improvement. Reporting to the Head of Business Relationship & Delivery Management within the Information Technology department, the role manages Digital Solution Experts across key enterprise technologies and works with Portfolio Managers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical technology options. It covers solution advisory, technology evaluation, high-level solution design and technology simplification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Digital Solution team, building its knowledge across assigned technology domains and platforms.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of enterprise digital capabilities, including SAP, Salesforce, SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle Unifier, Sprinklr, mobility, automation and digital experience.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and business stakeholders to identify technology solutions and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into solution options and recommend the right approach: configuration, new development, reuse or acquisition of external technologies.
• Develop high-level solution blueprints covering platform usage, integrations, dependencies and key technology considerations.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture and Application Development & Maintenance to keep solutions scalable, integrated, secure and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, run periodic capability reviews and engage vendors to assess products through demos or pilots.
• Establish solution design governance, promote standardization and reuse, and monitor the quality of solution outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in a managerial role, in digital solutions, solution architecture, enterprise applications, technology consulting or digital transformation.
• Demonstrated experience in solution design, technology evaluation, system integration and build-versus-configure-versus-buy assessments.
• Experience working across business, Enterprise Architecture, application development and delivery teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, analytics, digital experience, mobility and automation.
• Solution design, blueprinting and technology capability management.
• Vendor and technology evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
