Direct Entry Captain – A350/A380

About the role

We are seeking experienced pilots to join Emirates as Direct Entry Captains on A350 or A380 aircraft, operating from Dubai.

Required profile

• Minimum 7,000 total flying hours in multi‑crew, multi‑engine aircraft (turboprop/turbojet seat time only).
• At least 150 hours in the past 12 months on Airbus fly‑by‑wire (FBW) as Captain.
• Valid ICAO ATPL with Class 1 medical and English level 5 or higher.
• For A380: minimum 3,000 PIC hours on Airbus FBW wide‑body (A330/A340/A350/A380) and currently flying as Captain on such aircraft.
• For A350: minimum 3,000 PIC hours on any Airbus FBW (A320/A330/A340/A350/A380) and currently flying as Captain on Airbus FBW.

Required skills

• Airbus fly‑by‑wire operation (A320, A330, A340, A350, A380).
• Multi‑crew, multi‑engine aircraft handling.
• Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC) experience.
