Direct Entry Captain – Airbus Wide‑Body

About the role

Emirates is seeking highly experienced pilots to join its fleet as Direct Entry Captains on A350 or A380 aircraft. Candidates must have extensive multi‑crew, multi‑engine experience and be currently operating Airbus fly‑by‑wire wide‑body jets.

Required profile

• Minimum 7,000 total flight hours in multi‑crew, multi‑engine aircraft (turboprop/turbojet seats only, simulators excluded)
• At least 150 hours in the past 12 months as Captain on Airbus FBW aircraft
• Valid ICAO ATPL and Class 1 medical certificate
• English language proficiency ICAO level 5 or above
• For A380: minimum 3,000 PIC hours on Airbus FBW wide‑body (A330/A340/A350/A380)
• For A350: minimum 3,000 PIC hours on any Airbus FBW (A320/A330/A340/A350/A380)
