Director, AI Network Development & Content Delivery

About the role

The Director of AI Network Development & Content Delivery will lead the end‑to‑end design, build and optimisation of a backbone that supports AI workloads, global content provider connectivity and hyperscaler integration. The role is responsible for making the operator’s network AI‑ready, delivering high‑capacity, low‑latency, resilient and cost‑efficient interconnection across national and international domains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement multi‑layer architecture linking GPU clusters, AI traffic frameworks, AI data centres, edge nodes and high‑capacity IP/Optical fabrics.
• Drive evolution toward AI‑native network designs using 400G/800G transport and ultra‑low‑latency routing.
• Plan capacity, forecast demand and expand IP/RON networks to support exponential AI data growth.
• Develop technical frameworks for hosting CDNs, cache nodes, edge POPs and peering models.
• Set KPIs for latency, throughput and availability, and create policies for dynamic bandwidth allocation between AI, CDN and hyperscaler workloads.
• Ensure compliance with IPv6, RPKI and secure BGP practices for all hyperscaler interconnections.
• Coordinate with content, peering, transport, data‑centre and global AI cloud teams to align architecture and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in telecom network development, hyperscaler integration and content delivery.
• At least 3 years in AI‑centric or high‑performance networking environments.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, multi‑region network projects.
• Strong background in AI infrastructure, including GPU cluster integration and AI workload optimisation.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and leadership skills for cross‑functional teams.
