Director – Cyber Consulting Services (GRC)

About the role

The Director – GRC Services leads the governance, risk and compliance advisory practice, accountable for service delivery, client relationships, commercial performance and people leadership. Reporting to the Executive Director – CCS, the role translates the firm’s growth strategy into a high‑performing, profitable GRC service line.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the GRC services strategy and go‑to‑market plan aligned with the firm’s advisory vision.
• Own the practice profit‑and‑loss, setting revenue targets, utilization, margin and pricing.
• Identify emerging regulatory and risk themes (e.g., ESG, data protection, AI governance) and develop new propositions.
• Represent the firm in the market through thought leadership, industry forums and regulator engagement.
• Build and maintain trusted‑advisor relationships with C‑suite, board and audit‑committee stakeholders.
• Lead origination, proposal development and commercial negotiation for new business.
• Drive cross‑selling across advisory and assurance lines and manage strategic accounts.
• Hold ultimate delivery accountability for GRC engagements, including governance reviews, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and risk transformation programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in governance, risk or compliance, with significant consulting exposure.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role with P&L and business‑development responsibility.
• Proven track record of growing a practice or leading large engagements in regulated sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
