Director Forensic Audit (UAE National)

About the role

The Director of Forensic Audit will lead special investigations and forensic audits, ensuring timely and professional delivery based on inputs from the Audit Committee, internal control heads, whistle‑blowing channels, and management. This senior role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to implement effective internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct special investigations and forensic audits based on risk rating and urgency, coordinating with the Audit Committee and senior management.
• Monitor, analyse and report departmental performance to the Head of Internal Control.
• Plan, manage and supervise forensic and special audit assignments, defining objectives, scope and audit approach.
• Review and validate audit findings with business owners, obtain action plans and ensure implementation.
• Prepare detailed forensic audit reports and presentations for executive management and update the Audit Committee regularly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA/CA/ACCA/CIA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing (at least 8 years for UAE nationals).
• Prior experience in a large telecom environment with strong knowledge of regional and international best practices.
