Director, Global Implementation - Cash & Trade

About the role

The Director, Global Implementation - Cash & Trade leads the Global Implementation and Cash Client Service Group in the UAE, driving the end-to-end delivery of Transaction Banking (TB) products and services under client contractual agreements. The role manages a team of Implementation Managers, oversees complex TB implementations, handles escalations and strengthens client relationships, and works closely with other Cluster and Country Heads to deliver a consistent global client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Global Implementation and Cash Client Service strategy for the UAE.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of complex Transaction Banking solutions.
• Manage senior client relationships, service reviews and critical escalations.
• Improve implementation cycle times, service quality and client satisfaction.
• Partner with Sales, Coverage, Product, Technology and Operations on solution design and delivery.
• Drive process simplification, digital integration and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong project governance, operational controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, develop and retain a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Represent Implementation in senior management and governance forums.

Required profile

• Banking and finance industry experience or similar, with a strong delivery focus.
• Experience implementing trade supply chain finance and documentary trade solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering large, complex, cross-border deals.
• Strong project management discipline and ability to manage escalations, including escalating to senior management internally and externally.
• Computer competency and technology background preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
• Extensive knowledge of API, system and technology integrations and Transaction Banking products.
• PMP certification is a plus; third-party platform experience is a plus.
