Director Internal and Corporate Communications International

About the role

The Director of Internal and Corporate Communications International will shape the narrative and rhythm of communications across a diverse set of regions, including China, Eurasia, Asia‑Pacific, the Middle East & Africa, and Latin America. Reporting to the Senior Director, Communications, International, you will create and deliver content that engages employees, strengthens external reputation, and advances thought leadership on critical health topics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch internal campaigns that connect staff to the company’s purpose, strategy and impact.
• Orchestrate major regional moments such as quarterly results updates, senior‑leader meetings, country visits and town‑hall events.
• Develop a unified corporate brand story for the region while allowing local market adaptation.
• Produce thought‑leadership content on science, innovation, healthcare transformation and sustainability.
• Lead reputation‑management initiatives by partnering with research agencies, tracking tools and local teams.
• Implement capability‑building frameworks, new tools and best‑practice sharing across markets.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, aligning communications plans with global priorities.
• Define objectives, metrics and feedback loops for campaigns, analyse performance and refine strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of public‑relations or communications experience in a global in‑house or agency environment.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale, multi‑regional communication programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
