Director of Finance

About the role

Capital.com, a leading global trading platform, is expanding its UAE operations and seeks a Director of Finance to provide full financial oversight across regulated and non‑regulated entities. This senior, hands‑on position will serve as the primary finance liaison for regulators, auditors, banks and group leadership, ensuring robust financial control as the business scales in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Own all financial regulatory reporting for UAE entities, including monthly client‑money reports, cash‑flow forecasts and annual regulator submissions.
• Lead consolidation of five UAE entities and prepare monthly internal management accounts for the group.
• Direct treasury activities, monitor daily cash positions and oversee client‑money reconciliations in line with UAE rules.
• Manage annual external audits for all UAE entities and maintain end‑to‑end auditor relationships.
• Own budgeting, budget‑vs‑actual analysis and coordinate business plans with the Group FP&A team.
• Oversee banking, payments, PSP relationships, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping and tax compliance.
• Approve regional expenses, supervise supplier payments and support tax planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, tax authorities, banks and suppliers.
• Lead, develop and manage the local finance team, including performance management and succession planning.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience within a CFD, forex or online trading brokerage.
• Hands‑on ownership of consolidation, treasury and regulatory reporting across multiple entities.
• Direct experience with UAE regulatory reporting and client‑money rules (SCA and/or DFSA).
