Director of Finance

About the role

Capital.com is seeking a senior finance leader to own all finance activities across its UAE operations. You will be the primary finance authority for both regulated and non‑regulated entities, reporting to regulators, auditors, banks and group leadership while building a high‑performing local finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own all UAE regulatory financial reporting, including monthly client‑money reports, cash‑flow forecasts and annual regulator submissions.
• Lead consolidation of five UAE entities and produce monthly internal management accounts for the group.
• Direct treasury activities, monitor daily cash positions and oversee client‑money reconciliations in line with UAE rules.
• Manage the annual external audit process for all UAE entities and act as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Control budgeting, budget‑vs‑actual analysis and coordinate business plans with the Group FP&A team.
• Oversee banking, payments, PSP relationships, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping and tax compliance for the region.
• Approve regional expenses, supervise supplier payments and support tax planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, tax authorities, banks and suppliers.
• Lead, develop and succession‑plan the local finance team.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience in CFD, forex or online‑trading brokerage with hands‑on consolidation, treasury and regulatory reporting.
• Direct experience with UAE regulatory reporting and client‑money rules (SCA, DFSA/ADGM).
• Proven track record managing external audit relationships and banking partners.
• Strong people‑leadership experience building finance teams during growth.
