Director of Finance – UAE Operations

About the role

Capitalcom is expanding its trading platform across the Middle East and is looking for a Director of Finance to lead all finance activities for its UAE operations. The role combines financial control, regulatory reporting, treasury oversight and audit management while providing people leadership for the local finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own all UAE regulatory financial reporting, including monthly client‑money reports, cash‑flow forecasts and annual submissions to regulators.
• Consolidate the five UAE entities and produce internal management accounts on a monthly basis.
• Direct treasury functions, monitor daily cash positions and ensure client‑money reconciliations comply with UAE rules.
• Lead annual external audits for all UAE entities and manage relationships with auditors.
• Prepare and monitor the regional budget, perform budget‑vs‑actual analysis and coordinate business plans with Group FP&A.
• Oversee banking, payments, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping and tax compliance for both regulated and non‑regulated entities.
• Approve regional expenses, manage supplier payments and support tax planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, tax authorities, banks and suppliers.
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and planning succession.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CPA.
• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, preferably within regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory reporting and client‑money rules.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑entity consolidation and treasury operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management with regulators, auditors and senior business leaders.
